Immediately prior to Charles and Ida's household in the enumeration was a dwelling owned by Mary Doughty Brower. The two families after Charles and Ida were those of William and Rosetta Brower Parmalee (Ida's parents), and of James W. and Elizabeth Bloomer Bailey (Charles' parents), whose household included Abigail Loveless, Elizabeth Bloomer Bailey's mother.5 
SonIda and Charles's son Louis Smith was born on 16 September 1871. 
Death*Ida died either February 2 or 4, 1874 at Marlborough, Ulster County, New York, at age 31.8,14,7,6 
Burial*She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Marlborough, Ulster County, New York.15 
Note*Told her son Louis Smith Bailey that she was a descendant of Elder Brewster of the Mayflower, Brewster becoming Brewer and then Brower (her mother's maiden name). This is a claim I have not been able to prove or disprove.
